NOLA LONDON

NOLA was created by a group of drinks industry veterans that wanted a place in London that celebrated the cocktail history of the city of New Orleans, Lousiana. It needed to be authentic, unpretentious, and match their own professional standards. Shortly after opening the doors to the public in the iconic 1st Floor Rivington Street location (across the street from Callooh Callay), the team realised they were onto something special. *Dan Aykroyd's secret live Blues performance the night of the official launch certainly helped put NOLA on the map.

 

Due to early success, hospitality industry buzz, and press coverage the place was fully booked every night of the week. In response, M'am (Members After Midnight) program was launched - ensuring that NOLA was a place that those 'in the know' could frequent after many other venues had shut their doors.

M'am organically spread word-of-mouth to a few early adopters within the entertainment and hospitality industries. Within a couple of months, we'd created a comfortable atmosphere for friendly local regulars, international visitors, fellow bartenders, chefs, noted actors, musicians, and celebrities alike.

Killer cocktails, Shoreditch's best live jazz & blues (as voted by Jazz FM), a room full of interesting like-minded people, and Bell Époque design influences all played a part to help catapult us onto the international cocktail bar scene as being amongst the 50 Best. ​

NOLA partners with British Airways to design their onboard food and drinks menus for all direct flights from London Heathrow to New Orleans. LA. as well as their first-class lounges. Collaborating with Nicole Scherzinger and Jazz FM to curate the in-flight entertainment.

NOLA opens its first bar and restaurant outside Shoreditch - nearby Bethnal Green, NOLA | Roman Road. The venue focuses on cocktails, nightly live jazz and blues performances, and a dinner menu featuring both classic and modern New Orleans fare.
